Many computer have built in capacity to fax, why would you then need more than one fax machine when they could use their computers half the time.
Maximize the Supplies
If you employees use a bond paper, make sure they print on both sides. That is a very easy thing to do but many people don’t do it because they think it is disrespectful to give someone a document that has something on the other side. The only time it is disrespectful is when the item printed on one side is confidential on any level. Otherwise, printing on both sides is perfectly acceptable.
Another thing you can do is encourage your employees to do as much as they can to use the supplies to the fullest. For example, if they are to sharpen a pencil, they have to make sure they will use that pencil till they can’t hold it anymore. Pencil is one of the things that really consume a lot of trees, the least they can do is use it to its fullest. You can even reward people who will submit a consumed pencil. As for bond papers, ask them to print on both sides and use the sides as scratch papers.
